fences don't keep worms out

It is Not Back to School time which means we're learning a lot of things and starting a new schedule of learning co-ops and Lego League, library days and park playdates. A few things we all learned recently: fences don't keep cabbage worms out of your broccoli patch, groundhogs really don't like the smell of ammonia or shiny aluminum foil and NEVER spray a ladle.

This week marks the the onsluaght of autumn! We have the windows open, fans and AC's off and we might have to dig out some jackets for tonight. I'm looking forward to our autumnal equinox fire.
