self-portrait wednesday ~ 1 ~

 

So Ms. Kathleen turned me on to a coolio art project community called self-portrait challenge. And while I may be an amateur photographer with a lil ole Sony Cyber-Shot; what a great reason to take pictures of myself !

So this month's challenge is POP ART. I'll admit that I'm not incredibly versed in this area of art, which really made it a challenge :) The obvious would be Warhol who has never been a favorite of mine. He must be a favorite of my mother-in-law's though because she gave us her hand me down Warhol coffee cups and a big soup mug that I use to put stuff in...like colored pencils & pens and , in this case, hydrangeas.
